Shipping & Delivery Policy

General Delivery Details

Please be aware that it is the customer's responsibility to provide correct and accurate delivery details to Simply Beautiful Gifts. If the customer provides delivery details, which are not correct, including providing hospital delivery details where the recipient of the delivery is no longer placed; the customer may incur a re-delivery fee. For the avoidance of doubt, Simply Beautiful Gifts will not be responsible for the loss or damage to the order once it is delivered in accordance with the delivery details provided.

Simply Beautiful Gifts delivers all items through a multi carrier shipping service. Where items are not available to be delivered through this multi carrier service such as for PO Box delivery we use Australia Post.

Whilst every effort is made and care is taken by Simply Beautiful Gifts, our couriers and Australia Post to deliver your gift within the designated time frame, this may not always be possible due to delivery delays out of our control. We cannot guarantee delivery dates and late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, nor does it entitle cancellation of your order. It is the customer's responsibility to inform Simply Beautiful Gifts if an order has not arrived. We will then track the details of your order to ensure that it is located and delivered.

Whilst we endeavour to fulfil all orders, please note that some styles, sizes or colours may not be available at the time of dispatch. If an item is not available, you will be contacted to determine how you would like to proceed.

Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for lost, stolen or delayed in transit parcels as this is outside of our physical control, although we will always endeavour to locate, track and ensure your parcels are delivered as we would expect them to be with our courier service or Australia Post.

Flat rate delivery charges per unit up to 5kg including GST are as follows;

Australia Wide Standard Delivery $15
Australia Wide Express Delivery $25

Simply Beautiful Gifts are pleased to offer the following international shipping options;

Rest of the World Registered Post $30

Items over 3kg will occur additional fees that will be calculated as required.

All Simply Beautiful gift boxes are delivered via our multi carrier courier service or Australia Post. Customers can select either Express, Regular or international parcel shipping during check out. All items sent are traceable and tracking details will be sent at the time of despatch.

All orders are despatched from Brisbane, Queensland and are despatched the next business day. Deliveries are only made Monday to Friday and are not made on weekends or public holidays. If an order is placed on the weekend or a public holiday, this will be despatched the following business day. Once an order is Despatched Simply Beautiful Gifts will send tracking details.

It is preferable for gift boxes to be delivered to a home or work address and imperative that the correct name and address is provided. *Note: If we have been provided with an incorrect address, a re-delivery fee may also be charged.

Hospital Deliveries

Due to estimated delivery times and today’s short length of hospital stays; it is advisable to have the gift boxes and baby hampers delivered to a home or business address. However, if you are wishing to send a baby gift box to a hospital please ensure that the recipient has not already been discharged and that you also have the correct name floor and room details. Additionally please make sure that you have the right hospital (e.g. either Private or Public as this can sometimes cause a re-delivery fee or delayed delivery if we are given the wrong information).

*Express Post offers an express delivery which is usually a next day service but this is not 100% guaranteed but it is the fastest delivery service available.

If the new mum has been discharged and the gift arrives after this time we cannot be held responsible your item will likely then be delayed and a redelivery fee will be charged if the item is returned to us.

In the event the recipient is not home, a delivery card will be left in the mailbox unless specified to leave with contact details to organise re-delivery or collection. Simply Beautiful Gifts are not responsible if the recipient does not respond to the calling card and the item is returned to Simply Beautiful Gifts or if there are delays with redirecting a parcel. If a parcel needs to be re-directed, this can take up to three business days.
